I’ve been fortunate enough to manage some of the largest leisure and aquatic venues and contracts in Australia, re-engineering and providing strategic and operational support to key stakeholders.

Hi, I am Anthony Lawrence, CEO of Clublinks! I joined Clublinks in 2012 and brought over 16 years’ experience in marketing and strategic consulting with Gemba and research with Telstra. I have been involved with major projects such as developing Australia’s largest sports and entertainment research program, managing Australia’s largest sponsorship deal and provided guidance to the Federal Government on a major Alcohol sponsorship initiative.

Hi there, I’m Gemma, a Venue Manager for Clublinks based at Collier Park Golf. Having moved into marketing and business development over 15 years ago, I’ve spent the last decade working in and on sport, recreation and hospitality venues in the wider Perth area. I lead a fantastic team of PGA Golf Pros and Operations Assistants who are busy creating an exciting future for Collier Park Golf through coaching and providing a premium service for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Hi, I’m Jessie, Venue Manager of DeakinACTIVE. I’ve been a leader in the Aquatics and Leisure industries for over 10 years. This includes experience stadiums, pools and health clubs within universities, the private health and fitness sectors and local Government. I oversee three DeakinACTIVE sites (all within Uni campuses) and over 100 employees. I have a huge passion for sport, am an avid footballer and have a desire for leading and developing people and overseeing major projects to encourage better communities.

Hi, my name is Keiran and I am the Golf Operations Manager at Bingara Gorge Golf Course. I am a member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) and have been since January 2006. I have managed and been a part of a variety of golf courses in my career, from public 9-hole courses, to private member only golf clubs. I have been with Clublinks, to manage Bingara Gorge Golf Course since May 2017. The small team on site is always energetic and ready to give every person a fantastic experience and to always get priorities done.

Matt Day

Hi, I am Matt, State Manager (WA) for Clublinks! I’ve been with the business for nearly two years and bring with me over 27 years’ golf and turf management experience. I worked for CJD Equipment and Nuturf before spending 15 years with the Town of Cambridge managing and developing Wembley Golf Course with projects such as the 80-bay driving range, mini golf and the very successful 300 acres restaurant. I oversee the fantastic teams at Collier Park Golf and The Cut as well as assisting the Clublinks team and venues with golf projects.

Mitch Ferguson

Hi, I am Mitch, the Venue Manager at Centenary Park Golf Course in Frankston. I have been with the business just over two years and bring with me over 12 years’ experience in the health and fitness and leisure industries. I have over 10 years’ facility management experience and have worked for Fitness First Australia and Goodlife Healthclubs. I manage a small operational team and major stakeholders of the Golf Course (including the Frankston City Council and the Centenary Park Golf Club) in order to deliver a fantastic service to the community of Frankston and beyond.

With experience gained in the UK and Australia I have oversight of the Moore Park Precinct encompassing Moore Park Golf and Centennial Parklands Sports Centre in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

Hi, I am Paul, National Finance Manager! I joined Clublinks in 2016 and brought with me over 10 years’ experience in the leisure and hospitality industries. I have led many of Clublinks’ transitions across to newly acquired sites and am key in the establishment of financial systems, processes and reports across the facilities we manage. I manage a large team of financial experts to ensure the implementation of appropriate controls across the business.

Hi, I am Rowena, National Marketing Manager for Clublinks! I’ve been with the business for just over six months and bring with me over 20 years’ corporate marketing experience. I’ve worked for brands including Westfield, Walt Disney, Newscorp, BP, 7-Eleven and most recently, YMCA on their premium learn to swim brand, Kingswim. I manage a team of Marketing Executives and Graphic Designers who are state based and manage our marketing requirements including brand, digital, campaign management, social media and more on site.

Hi all, I’m Steve, General Manager of Corporate Services for the Moore Park Precinct in Sydney. I have enjoyed a colourful 15-year journey from closing leveraged finance trades in the UK, to climbing through the golf operations ranks at some of Sydney’s premium golf clubs. I am now running one of the most successful and vibrant golf entertainment facilities in Australia, at Moore Park Golf.
Most recently we have expanded the footprint in the Moore Park precinct through the acquisition of the Centennial Parklands Sports Centre Management Contract and have further plans to expand the precinct into a full suite of family health and entertainment options. Much of that time was spent developing some of Australia’s premium aquatic facilities, particularly WaterMarc, Eltham where I was intimately involved through the concept, feasibility, design and operation.
