Since operating one of Australia’s busiest public golf courses, Moore Park Golf, Clublinks has continued to reimagine how driving ranges in Australia can evolve into fully encompassing golf and entertainment experiences.

A project that saw several false starts, the Moore Park Golf driving range officially closed mid-June 2024 to install the highly anticipated Trackman Range technology and a booking system.

With the upgrades, the goal is to create a driving range that is a leading golf entertainment experience and is inclusive for golfers and non golfers of all abilities.

Trackman Range provides an expansive range of ways to enjoy golf – whether that be through using the technology to hone your skills and drill down on inch perfect data outputs or you are enjoying the multiple options of interactive games with a group of friends in a bay. Either option will provide a great introduction to your golfing experience.

Additionally, the introduction of a much-needed booking system for the busy driving range was crucial to both improve customer experience and reduce extensive wait times for bays. This new system will allow us to better understand our range customers habits and preferences so we can continue to refine and improve the customer experience.

With this, on Tuesday 2 July it was a proud moment for the Moore Park Golf and Clublinks team to finally open back up to the public after celebrating with a private stakeholder event the night before showcasing the hard work of the team and renovated driving range.

It was a great night to bring together the national Clublinks team with notable visits from team members across our Melbourne head office, QLD’s Minnippi Golf & Range, WA’s Links Kennedy Bay Golf Course, UNSW Fitness & Aquatic Centre and previous Moore Park Golf employees who had been privy to the driving range project.

Leaders of this project include Stephen Peverett, NSW State Manager; Susan Lahood, Moore Park Precinct Manager; and Mat Barnes, Moore Park Golf Venue Operations Manager.

Overall, Clublinks and Moore Park Golf take pride in delivering an opportunity for anybody to come and enjoy golf in a fun, welcoming, inclusive environment. We encourage our avid golfer to fulfil their potential with the help of the instant feedback received to improve every shot, and we also welcome those looking to try something new, something different, something fun through the ultimate golf entertainment experience.
