Place Development Australia today confirmed the appointment of Clublinks Management Pty Ltd as operator of the reimagined Links Kennedy Bay. The group will take over operations on 26 July, 2021.
The confirmation followed an exhaustive selection process to identify an experienced golf course operator with the required capability and capacity to manage the world-class golf course and clubhouse offering a restaurant, bar, alfresco terrace and golf shop.
Soon to undergo significant improvement and reconfiguration, the Links Kennedy Bay golf course sits at the heart of the new $425 million master-planned Kennedy Bay coastal development by Western Australia Beach and Golf Resort (WABGR).
Director for Place Development Australia, David Roberts said: “We are delighted to have secured Clublinks as the operator for Links Kennedy Bay. As the best golf operators in Australia, this is an exciting milestone in the delivery of the Kennedy Bay community and will act as a catalyst in creating a thriving new commercial, hospitality and recreational destination.

Clublinks currently operates 10 facilities including five golf courses across Australia including Moore Park Golf (NSW), Bingara Golf (NSW), Centennial Parklands Sports Centre (NSW), UNSW Fitness & Aquatic Centre (NSW), Reserve Bank of Australia Fitness Centre (NSW), The Cut Golf Course (WA), Collier Park Golf Course (WA), Centenary Park Golf Course (VIC), Deakin Active (VIC), and Toodyay Recreation Centre (WA).

Works on the Links Kennedy Bay golf course are due to commence shortly and anticipated for completion in 2023. Construction of the new Kennedy Bay Clubhouse is also nearing completion and set to open in October this year.
