Sport and leisure management company Clublinks, and sporting innovation provider PlaySight, have announced a new partnership to bring state of the art training and gamification technology to suburban sporting facilities. This new alliance will bring the PlaySight training program to a range of Clublinks’ managed sites across the sport and leisure industry in New South Wales and Victoria.
The PlaySight Smartcourt transforms matches and training sessions into fully interactive and shareable events, while giving professional level analysis and evaluation tools to take participants’ games to the next level. The PlaySight technology can be used on a range of sports and leisure activities, including basketball and netball, golf, tennis, squash, soccer and even dancing.
“We are very excited to announce our partnership with Clublinks, a truly world class sports and leisure management company. Clublinks are the first company of its kind to join with PlaySight, and we look forward to bringing our technology to a majority of the facilities they manage across a number of sports in Australia. The recent installation of our tennis smart court at Centennial Parklands Sports Centre in Sydney is the first of many installations to come, and PlaySight is proud to name Clublinks as one of its partners.” PlaySight’s CEO Chen Shachar said.
Although PlaySight is a global company with offices and facilities across the world, there is a unique Australian connection. “I am a proud investor in this incredible technology so it brings me great joy to partner with Clublinks and see it installed in my homeland at Centennial Parklands Sports Centre,” said Greg Norman.
Clublinks’ CEO, Anthony Lawrence adds “We are thrilled to be engaging into this partnership with PlaySight. We have been seeking a solution that enhances our customers’ experience from an interactive and engagement point of view for some time and PlaySight does just that. As soon as we saw it we knew we had to be involved. The PlaySight technology enhances our facilities for participants at all levels. ”
Centennial Parklands Sports Centre will officially unveil the PlaySight program on 19th January 2018. Further installations across Clublinks’ facilities will be announced throughout 2018.
